When we interact with the world, there's always a process of interpretation involved. It's like
trying to understand a foreign language, we're constantly translating what we perceive into
our own understanding. However, this translation is never perfect; it's more like a rough
paraphrasing than an exact representation of reality. The external world, with all its complexities,
often seems just out of reach, like it's withholding its true essence from us. Consequently,
every interaction we have with the world becomes a distorted reflection of it, rather than a
clear window into its reality. It's similar to only seeing the tip of an iceberg, while the vast
majority remains hidden beneath the surface.
Caught in this paradox, our attempts to comprehend the world are hindered by its inherent
inaccessibility. It's like trying to capture a fleeting moment, by the time we've grasped it, it's
already changed. In this context, my camera becomes a tool to document this ephemeral
nature of reality. This project serves as a witness to the perpetual struggle we face in
trying to understand and capture the essence of the outside world.
